I don’t want to be part of your Pyramid

As a current job hunter, I see tons of sucky jobs every day.  But I have to say, one of the most annoying things is to receive emails from 3rd party recruiters telling me that not only am I qualified for the management positions they have, but ALSO I have the potential to earn a six-figure income.  In fact, I have even received phone calls of this nature.  Here is how it goes:

Phone rings.

Me: Hello
Sleeze: Hello Brianne, I am in receipt of your resume and I’d like to invite you in for an interview.
Me:  That sounds Great!  What is the position and what company are you with?
Sleeze: We have various sales and marketing positions.  Let’s meet at 12:00 at the Marriott in the Tech Center.
Me: Ok, can you tell me a bit more about the position?  Perhaps you could email me a job description.
Sleeze:  That’s just what I was going to do.  I’ll send it on over and I look forward to meeting you.

Well, he did follow though on his word and I did receive an email.  However, rather than a job description it was instructions telling me to print out some form and bring it with me.

So today, I nominate jobs like his for super suck job of the day.  Not only does he have to deal with the self loathing and hatred towards his own job, but he also has to try to recruit new people into his black hole as well.  I don’t have the name of the company to warn you because, of course, that information was never given to me.
